My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Mikey! I am 4 years old and about 12 pounds. My foster mom says I’m “bewitching” because of the cute way I wiggle my nose when I’m checking something out.
I’m a spunky and gentle little guy who loves playing with toys and my foster family dogs. I’m particularly good when playing with my blind IG foster sister. Bossy girls are fine with me. I love big dogs too, I will clean the face and ears of my big foster brothers when they let me. I can even be ok with the right cat though if a kitten runs from me, of course I’ll chase it.
My potty skills are quite good. Once you get me in a routine and show me where you want me to go, I’ll make you proud. I will sleep in a crate or in bed with you and be perfectly happy. I walk politely on a leash though if you are ignoring me I may gently tug on your shirt or pants to get your attention.
I had a rough start: I was found in a ditch. I can be a little skittish when people stand over me or approach me; I prefer to come to you on my terms, but once I meet you and I’m in your lap or snuggled up to you, life is all good. After I was rescued, I spent time with a foster family learning what it is to be a pet. I was adopted by a loving lady, who sadly became very ill, so I’m looking for a new home. Please come see me and you’ll be bewitched by my charm and good manners
