Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Miss Sugar is as sweet as her name implies! Her owner passed away and a family member took her in but couldn’t pay for the medical bills to treat her diabetes. Her wonderful vet saved Sugar and we are working together to place her.
She is a 7 year old dachshund mix and strikingly beautiful with two-toned eyes (brown at the top and blue at the bottom).
Sugar loves children and every human she has met. She lives with several dogs and cats and doesn’t bother anybody. Her favorite place to be is in your arms or in your lap!
Sugar tested positive for diabetes and she is getting regulated with her diet and medication. Some of Sugar’s medical care will be covered by her veterinarian to help offset the costs of owning this darling cutie.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
