My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is a three month old lab/shepherd mix puppy. Prince is a beautiful color of golden. He is just a sweetheart. Prince was rescued from a high kill shelter in Arkansas. Prince is in a foster home with other pups and gets along wonderfully with everyone. He is the sweetest gentlest boy. He will let you carry him around like a baby while trying to kiss you all the while. He is working on his potty skills. Prince is ready for a HOME and his forever family.

If you are interested in giving Prince a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901-651-6322) or Angela (901-361-0089) anytime with questions.

Prince's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, heartguard, frontline, certificate of health and transportation.

Prince is living with a foster family in Tennessee. He will travel to his new home by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We used a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
