Indigo's Info...

I am purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Indigo's Story...
My name is Indigo because I'm blue. Yes, I am one of those rare gray greyhounds. I was admiring a handsome dog this morning in the bathroom, then I realized it was my own reflection. I guess the cast should have been a clue.

Also, I'm blue because I broke my leg racing. I'm having surgery on Tuesday to fix it. I'm told it's going to cost over $4,000, so send your spare change to SA GREY's Jackie's Fund!

I'm hanging out at a house with some other dogs until Tuesday. The pet life seems to be a good gig. I'm really looking forward to being able to run around the house and yard, and enjoy my new found freedom! I'm be ready to be your forever pet as soon as my leg is healed.

Indigo is only 2 and had just16 races before breaking his leg. His small dog status is unknown, but he is not cat tolerant. Indigo is in foster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indigo, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
