My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Casper it was giving to me by my previous family and I guess they considered it quite fitting seeing how I was very much invisible. By the time I reached 6 months only I had already been passed around to two different homes and then finally CAA Rescue found me and took me in!

When they rescued me my claws were very long, I had never visited a vet and was very timid and shy and nervous
Other than being left alone a lot I really no experiences and seemed to the volunteers I was just so very sad and not joyful like a 6 month pup should be

At first everything scared me in foster care so I tinkled everywhere all the time, nervous pees ... it really was not my fault. I lacked so much confidence but my foster family never yelled at me or scolded me – I never got in trouble for it and WOW slowly I started feeling better and better ever single day!

It took a while for me to start gaining confidence, but I am getting there. In my foster home I have two other doggies to play with and I love that... they helped to show me a lot what happiness means. I get to snuggle in a bed every night and I very much like that A LOT

I am really a very good boy now that I am gaining confidence
I am learning a lot every day and learning fast

The volunteers at CAA Rescue and my foster family keep reminding me that I am a 6 month old puppy with a lot to learn and mistakes will happen because I am just a baby!
I am so happy now that people understand that I need to be taught and trained how to be a good canine citizen, that with positive reinforcement training I thrive
The best part about life now is that I get to be a puppy – I never had that chance before so everything is new for me in this life as I experience everything for the first time

I love everything and everyone
But please if you come to meet me don’t be put off by my shyness at first sometimes it can take me a little while to warm up to new people, places and things... I guess I just keep remembering my life before CAA Rescue volunteers found me. I just need someone who will be patient with me, loving and caring. I am just looking for a best friend who is ready to show me how wonderful life truly can be!!

If you are kind, patient, loving and gentle please email CAARescue@gmail.com to ask them for an application for adoption and once completed we can make arrangements for you to meet me and we can see if we are meant to be. I traveled a sad & lonely road in my short little life and I am looking for a friend to love me for always in good times and bad
