My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KNIGHT is a 1 year old black neutered male Lab who weighs 51 pounds. He's a little shy about meeting new men think he has been abused in the past. Once he meets you he is fine. He found that being petted is a good thing and he now knows which pocket the treats are in. He hasn't learned to play with toys yet but is willing to!!! Knight comes from the country and probably would not do well in a city an apartment/condo environment. He's good with other dogs ~ likes to play with several at shelter and kennel. He knows sit, down and is approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (8/23): Knight is super sweet, takes treats gently, loves pets, cuddles, and giving kisses. He plays well, is house-trained, and knows sit, paw, and down. He enjoys playing with toys, but he'd rather be wrestling with other dogs! He will stick his head in the sink to see what can be licked. At night he is quiet in his crate. He enjoys playing with children and just loves getting lots of attention!

Update (8/09): Knight is puppyish but is able to relax around the house. He chews appropriate things, loves his squeaky toys and chasing anyone or anything that will let him (so no cats). He plays well with other dogs at the dog park. Knight can jump very high and has wanderlust so a secure fence and a watchful owner are a must. He's always excited to meet new people. His not a fan of sharing his food and toys with other dogs.
