Fenway is a male Australian Shepherd mix only 1 year in age. He is a nice manageable size, currently weighing in at 24 pounds. He may gain a few more pounds to reach his full adult weight. Fenway has a medium length red and white coat with sweet little speckles around his nose and on his feet. He is a very easy dog, mellow and extremely obedient. Fenway is super smart and learns new commands with ease. He is housebroken and excellent inside the home. He likes to play, and is always gentle and respectful in his play. Fenway enjoys the company of other dogs, playing or hanging out, and is submissive and quiet with people. He takes a little while to warm up and trust since at some point we think he may have been abused and he wants to make sure you don't intend to hurt him. He is very safe with children and will tolerate lots of stroking, patting and adoration from little kids. Fenway came to us when the shelter brought him in nearly dead from starvation. He weighed only 7 pounds when we first rescued him! Fenway has spent several months in our rescue gaining weight and resting. His skin is still recovering from malnutrition and previous flea infestation. All in all, Fenway is now a healthy boy and is looking for his new future and family! He is so quiet and easy, you will love having this sweet doggie in your home. Fenway is ready for his new forever home today!
Fenway’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Fenway is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary B. and is ready for his forever home.
