Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"My name is BAXTER, and I'm a big dog who's got a lot of love to give. I'm a Mastiff who's about three years old, and I ended up here at the shelter when my owner had to move and couldn't take me along. I'm bummed about it, but I know that there's a person or family out there who'll appreciate a wonderful fellow like me. I'm gentle, easy-going, lovable, and trained. I know commands like "sit" and "down." I get along great with everybody, so I'd be an excellent family pet, and I get along well with other dogs. You'll also be happy to know that I've been house trained. I like to go on daily walks to keep me at my best, and I walk quite well on a leash. I'll want to have a nice, big dog bed in the house, as I'll want to be part of the family. You've got to come visit me! I'm here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and they have a nice play yard where we can get better acquainted. I sure hope to see you soon! Love, Baxter" Kennel #24
