Hi there! My name is Beamer. I am only about 8-10 months old and I weigh about 45 lbs. I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area and was brought in to the pound. I do have some itchy skin, likely a flea or food allergy. It does not appear to be anything serious.
I am a totally adorable and very loving boy! I love to cuddle up with you and give you kisses! I sure would love to have a big bed in my new home where I can cuddle up with my new family and keep them warm all night long. I would even give them kisses in the morning.
I seem to get along great with the other dogs here at the pound. I would love to have a dog friend to play with in my new home but I don't seem to be dependent on another canine, so I should also be fine in a home without another dog.
I LOVE to play fetch. Like most border collie mixes, I am very focused on the ball when I play. I might be an awesome fly ball prospect. I'm very smart and young, so I'm pretty sure I could be whatever kind of an awesome dog you want me to be!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 28, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
