Sophie's Story...
Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m a mini-lab: I look just like a lab, but I’m half the size! I’m an easy dog. I share my foster home with doggie brothers and sisters and I play with them all. I walk very well on a leash and I ride very well in a car. I like playing with toys and I’m a good girl: I know what are my toys and what is your stuff. I like hanging out with my foster mom and keeping her company because I don’t have the lab energy big labs have sometimes. I’m about 40 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea preventative, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
