Meet Watson!
With some treats, sweet-talking and scratching behind the ears, two-year-old Watson’s initial nervousness will disappear! In fact, if you stop petting him, he’ll push his nose under your hand to get some more loving.
Watson loves playing with other dogs and his foster mom can’t wait to introduce him to kids! He loves running outside in the grass, in between the trees and feeling the wind in his fur. Watson is perfecting his potty training, walking on a leash — he tends to wander when he’s walking by himself, but walks great alongside other dogs. He’s also busy learning things every good dog should know, including “sit” and “stay” — he already knows “outside” and “treat!”
This sweet boy would love a forever home with other dogs (or friends with dogs), and one that will take him outside for walks and play. If you’re looking for a pup who yearns to form an unbreakable bond with you, Watson is your boy!

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
