Zenzi's Story...
My name, Zenzi, is of German origin just like my breed - Weimaraner. The meaning of Zenzi is "to spring up, grow, thrive” which is exactly what I am doing in my foster home, and I will continue to do in my furrever home!

I visited the vet on July 28th, and she determined that I am approximately 3 months because I am starting to lose my baby teeth. I have lost two teeth since then, and I love it because the tooth fairy gives me extra treats under my blanket! Glad I have a mouth full of teeth!

I LOVE walks around the neighborhood, and I am great on the leash. I also enjoy rolling around in the grass in the fenced backyard. I am good at catching crickets and I know one day I will catch that butterfly! I am good at getting in my crate, and I sleep through the night there. I let my foster mom know when I need to go potty outside with a short bark. I really enjoy the other dogs at my foster home, and I play well with them.

(not sure if you need to say this but…..) I had an infection on my leg from a cut I received before I was rescued. The infection is going away and the cut has healed nicely. I am current on all of my shots.

Since I am still growing, I will need more training over the next few months. My personality should make it easy! Can I come spend my lifetime with you?

Although Zenzi is currently located in Jackson, MS, transportation to the New England area can be easily arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zenzi, a Groton Weimaraner puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Groton, or seeking a Weimaraner puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
