My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippi is a sweet and happy 9-yr-old Chow mix who is good with people, kids, and other dogs. She was kept chained up on a farm since she was a pup until recently when she broke loose from the chain and killed the children's baby sheep they had got for 4H. In order to save her from being shot we got them to take her to the vet where she's being held. She's spayed, utd on shots, and we just found out she's HW-. She's getting her first round of Immiticide this week. The vet said her heart is strong (had the other vet in the office confirm the findings - two vets say no murmurs). She's never been in the house but was kept in the garage during the cold winter months and she would hold her potty until let outside. She also keeps her run clean at the vet (goes outside only.) She's a GREAT dog, just needs someone to give her a chance!

Pippi is located in Kentucky with another rescue that has asked us to help her find her new forever family. We can make arrangements to get her here! She is a sweetheart. Please contact Chow Rescue Ontario at tothchow@xplornet.com for more info.
