JONESY's Story...
Jonesy is a sweet, 2 year old, lab/pug mix. This handsome boy is a laid back kind of guy that prefers a home that is quiet and laid back as well. A little bit shy of some men at first, once Jonesy gets to know them he is a loyal companion. Jonesy is good with most dogs, however, prefers a home without cats. Jonesy is ok with kids 10 years and older and will do best with kids that will respect his space and allow Jonesy to get to know him on his terms. Jonesy enjoys taking walks and going to the dog park. This cutie is housebroken, good in a crate and knows his basic commands. If you are interested in meeting Jonesy please fill out the adoption application by visiting www.pittiemerescue.org and click on forms. Why Adoption is a Great Option

JONESY, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pug for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pug dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pug breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
