My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Athena. The name Athena means the goddess of reason. Why did I tell you that? Well, here is why: She is a weimaraner. She is 2 years old. We saved her from being put to sleep at the pound. She has a long skinny patch of hair missing along her back due to a chemical burn but is growing back normally. She also tested positive for heartworms when she first came to us. She has now been treated for heartworms. We have the certificate of treatment. But, her heartworm treatment also triggered mange. Don't worry, she has finished mange treatment now as well. Other then places where her hair is shorter due to the mange, she is good to go. (Hair is growing back normally, in 2 months you won't be able to tell she ever had mange) This sweet girl has been through so much! But, that hasn't hindered her spirit at all! She is so sweet. She gets along great with kids. She also loves to run and play. She is very, very sweet and absolutely loves belly rubs!! She is UTD on shots, spayed, wormed, and microchipped. She is not overly hyper. She loves riding in the truck too!! I know it sounds like she has been through a lot, and she has. But, she is now healthy and ready for her forever family to love her like she will love you. Her adoption fee is only $125
