My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke recently joined ASH Rescue's care and needed some time to heal from his neuter and learn a couple things. Here is what his Foster Mom sent us .....
We have been taking Duke with us almost every time we go out, he loves car rides but it's hard to get him into the vehicle but once in, he loves it. Duke is doing great. I have fallen in love with him! I wish we could add him into our family permanently but it's jut not the right timing :(
Duke is healing fast from his neuter. He is such an awesome fun, energetic big boy who loves running and playing with his foster sister. When he came into care he was on the thin side but he has been putting on some weight. He was also very scared of men, but he seems to be getting over that fear and doing much better when he sees a man or when one approaches him, but he is still very timid around them at times. He is doing well on crate training as well. He doesn't like to be left alone though, he loves the company of people or even just other animals, if you leave the room he will follow you. He is such a sweet boy, and starting to come out of his shell. He loves babies and cats, he's so gentle with both. He is not a very vocal dog but when he does bark, it's because he's letting you know that someone is either at the door or near his house/territory. I can't wait to get to know him more and will keep everyone updated.

Duke has had time to heal from his neuter and we feel that he is ready to find his forever family. If you are interested in seeing of you are the family for Duke to spend the rest of his days with, please visit our website and complete our online adoption application form.
