Plum's Story...
This sweet little poodle mix was in really horrible condition when we rescued her from the shelter, matted and filthy. It looked as if she had been outside for months. She is just as adorable as can be. She weighs about 9 lbs and the shelter had her at 4 yrs old but when we took her to the eye vet to check out her eyes, he felt she was closer to 10 yrs. She has some dry eye and we have her on meds. Although she may have some cloudiness, she can see very well and the vet did not have any concerns. She is quiet and well behaved, seems to be very well house and leash trained, loves her doggie bed and that's where she likes to be while inside. She gets along really well with the other dogs. She would prefer an all adult home. She is a very gracious and classy dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Plum, a Woonsocket Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
