Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio, a two-year-old, white and brindle male pit bull mix came into the shelter as a stray on April 26th. He knows the commands sit and down and even plays one on one with other energetic dogs during playgroup. He is a lovable, fun and sweet guy who has been overlooked on the adoption floor. He’s been there 92 days in cage 30 and when no one pays attention to him, he sits with his head hung down facing the wall … so sad … he needs a loving family willing to work with him on a little manners training. But he has a great start!
You can find Rio in adoption pavilion A at Chicago Animal Care and Control. He is healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed and heartworm-tested. CACC is at 2741 S. Western Avenue in Chicago and is open noon to 7:00 pm with an hour closure from 3:00 to 4:00. Rio’s adoption fee is $65. If you have questions about Rio or want to make sure he is still available for adoption or rescue, please contact caccadoptables@gmail.com
