Sami's Story...
Hi, I am SAMI! I am a 1-2 year old, female Tuxedo cat who came into Ladies of the West Side Rescue with my 3 babies, after I gave birth to them on a balcony. After being in foster care the last three months taking care of my babies, I am now ready to find my forever home! I am the BIGGEST SWEETHEART you will ever meet and I will take all the love and attention you can give. I would do best in a calm enviorment with mellow dogs that wont get up in my face or I would love to hang out with other cats.. I absolutely adore children of all ages, I my foster's grandchildren love to carry me around and I don't have a care in the world. Are you looking for someone to keep you company or have a younger cat that needs a partner in crime? Well why not let me be that forever buddy? I am up to date on my vaccines and have been spayed. Please email ladiesofthewestsiderescue@gmail.com for more information or to set up a meet and greet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sami, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
