Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey Bun is a beautiful chocolate lab mix that is cuddly, incredibly sweet and eager to please you. She loves nothing more than curling up to get lots of petting and tries very hard to be a lap dog even though she is 50lbs. Estimated to be around 2 years old, she's past the puppy phase and knows how to relax with a good bone, but still has a lot of energy to go for a walk or play ball in the yard. Don't blink, because she's incredibly fast and will have the ball back to you in seconds!
An owner turn-in to the shelter, Honey Bun has seen some neglect. She was left tied outside frequently, making her coat rough and bleached out. The good news is that she loves to be brushed and doesn't seem to mind taking a bath too much. After a lot of love and a little grooming, she is growing more gorgeous every day. Although she loves to play in the yard, Honey Bun prefers to be indoors and around people.
A quick and eager learner, Honey Bun is making big strides every day in her training. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, off, etc) and is 90% housebroken. Honey Bun loves to be around children and other dogs. She is not aggressive toward cats, but she's convinced they want to play with her. Honey Bun is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and ready to find her forever home.
