My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is courtesy posted for a private party and has no affiliation with Dogs Without Borders.

Fusilli is 4 years old, we think, and about 28 lbs. He has come a long way. When we first got him he was snapping at people and growling at other dogs. He also didn't seem to like having his face petted or played with. He is now well socialized and doesn't growl or nip anymore, but he can still get triggered by certain situations or people, so he needs a very experienced owner. He is much calmer and is fine with people if he can go to them rather than them come to him. He walks nicely on a leash. Fusilli doesn’t chew and rarely barks. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is part Poodle, part Havanese and part George Clooney. Ok, seriously, he is really a handsome, no fuss, kickback kind of a guy. He would function best as a part lap dog/ part guard dog. He does need boundaries and discipline to help him get over the scary parts but he is a smart guy and we have confidence in him. We are trying to figure out the best way to break it to him that he is actually a dog. He is completely person motivated and shows no interest in hanging out with dogs or playing with them. He doesn't have a problem with them, he just doesn't realize he's of the same species. He would do well in a home with no kids. The line forms here.
