Gizmo is a 1.5-year-old, spunky, bundle of energy. Although our best guess is that he is part Yorkie, his mix of breeds is not clear cut. No doubt, Gizmo will have plenty of personality traits that are all his own. He comes to Animatch along with his canine buddy, Lacey, because they were having accidents and marking in the house. Since Gizmo was unneutered, he tended to mark his territory and of course Lacey followed suit! Now that he is sterilized, this may help decrease the territorial marking, along with his guardian’s patience and consistency. Despite a rough patch, Gizmo is quick to forgive and is ready to forge ahead and find himself a family ... furever this time! Gizmo is an active fellow so he will need daily exercise and playtime – backyards don’t replace daily walks and outdoor play. His guardian must exercise his body and his mind. He gets along well with other dogs and would not be content to spend his days in someone’s arms. Gizmo is quite the watchdog and will alert his family to trespassers, a squirrel on his property, or a leaf falling to the ground; therefore, no apartments or condos for him. He is looking for a guardian who can provide him with a safe and loving home; one that will also provide lots of belly rubs and quality lap time.
