RILEY's Story...
RILEY is one of three pups abandoned in a remote rural area when his people moved away. We estimate his date of birth to be May 11, 2014. He is a sweet, friendly, little guy, and is the largest and most adventurous of his litter. His mama is a wire-haired terrier mix, and it looks like Riley will inherit mama's wire-haired look. His daddy was a medium-sized brindle hound mix. He will likely mature to be 35-40 lb. Riley has been de-wormed and had his first two sets of puppy shots. He is current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventives. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. For more information, please contact Janel Miller at dogrefuge@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RILEY, a Brattleboro Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
