My name is Fancy. I was abused in the past, so I can be timid and shy and may not seem very friendly sometimes. My current foster mom has been working with me and I am much better. I now follow her around (everywhere!) and want to be petted. I have become more playful and seek out attention. I don't really like to be picked up at all, but I will come & sit by you or on your lap to be petted. At home I rub all over my mom & lick her--she says I can be quite the pest! I LOVE the laser toy & act like a kitten when playing with it! I also enjoy looking out the door/window to see what's going on & watch the birds. With some time, love, & patience I will be yours forever. I would do best in a quiet ADULT ONLY home with no dogs. I have been around other cats/kittens and can tolerate them, but I just really seem to prefer that they leave me alone. Don't let all my quirks turn you away. I am a good girl and just need a chance to have a loving home. Will you be the one to give me my "furr-ever" home? Contact foster: Sue (419)250-0846. - See more at:

About Our Rescue Group...

We invite you to read About Us and what makes Planned Pethood difference from many other rescues. YOu can do so here:

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
