Auora's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Auora's Story...
Adoption fee on this dog is $300.

Aurora is an eight and a half month old Dutch Shepherd mix. She was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto shelter, so nothing is known of her background.

Aurora is living with another male puppy her age and 2 larger, adolescent dogs in her current foster home. She is very gentle with the five and three year old resident children and genuinely seems to enjoy their attention. She and has also learned to live with the resident cats.

Aurora is a very sweet and cuddly puppy. She is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and rides easily in the car. Aurora sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. She's an easy going girl that corrects easily and learns quickly. Her favorite activity seems to be following her foster mom from room and room and sleeping on her feet.

This dog is a Level 2. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. Go to our GCGSR Dogs page for an explanation of the Dog Rating Levels.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Auora, a Sacramento Dutch Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
