Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 2-3 month old neutered, male Chi puppy. He and his 3 siblings were rescued from a local Homestead nursery where they had no one to take care of them. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and dewormed. Rocky only weighs 4 pounds currently and we do expect him to stay very small. Rocky is ready to find a forever home with a family to love him. If you are interested in meeting him, please email us at adopt@thisisthedog.com

Donations are critical to our existence -- they help us to continue rescuing these animals and to make sure that they are healthy and properly socialized before being adopted. Thank you for considering a rescued animal from This Is The Dog!. To donate www.thisisthedog.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Homestead Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Homestead, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
