Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Myths and legends surround the Catahoula Leopard Dog What is certain is that the Catahoula is a dog with American roots, bred by the original European settlers of the Gulf States, who used the dogs to work livestock. The Catahoula is a well-muscled, deep-chested dog. The coat is short, Cleo sports a stylish white belt around her waist and the cutest spotted white muzzle. The average weight of a Catahoula is 55-80 pounds. Catahoulas are very smart dogs and need to be well trained or they will train the handler! They are active, strong, loyal dogs and do well in agility programs. This dog is not a couch potato!
