Hey this is Jake! He is a head shy Shepherd mix who needs a forever home.
Big fan of: Exercise, exercise, exercise! Jake is a very active young man who needs to be on a good exercise program and not left alone in the yard to exercise himself. He’d love to be your jogging buddy and to go for long hikes on the weekend. Jake loves treats and when you have treats in your hand that is all he can think about. He is not mouthy but he will paw at your hand for a treat! He also absolutely loves to play ball.
Special Features: If you are a first time dog owner you will need to sign him up for positive based obedience training. This will help with his confidence building.
Dream Home: Jake would love to have a dog sibling of similar age and play style. He could live with a confidant cat who will put him in his place. Because of Jake’s fearfulness, he could not live with young children. Respectful older kids who can help exercise and socialize Jake would be best.
