Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stitch is a wiggly and sweet, one- year-old, male chocolate and vanilla pit bull terrier-mix. He was confiscated from his owner who cropped his ears himself. He was bleeding profusely when police officers brought the poor boy to the shelter. The guy attempted to stitch him up himself with dental floss … thus the name Stitch. He is fine with being hugged and will give you kisses if you let him. He enjoys meeting dogs on leash and plays well in off-leash playgroups. Stitch knows the commands sit and down and takes treats gently and appreciatively from your fingers. He will do anything for a treat!
Since there are no available cages on the adoption floor, Stitch is still in pavilion B for rescues only. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed and heartworm-tested. CACC is at 2741 S. Western Avenue in Chicago and is open noon to 7:00 pm with an hour closure from 3:00 to 4:00. If you have questions about Stitch or want to make sure he is still available for rescue or foster, please contact courtcasedogs@safehumane.org
