Running out of time ... please foster or rescue Ruby and Lulu

Ruby and Lulu are a mother/daughter pair of Chihuahuas desperate to find their way out of Chicago Animal Care and Control either via a foster or rescue group. Momma Ruby is six years old. Daughter Lulu is three years old. Their caring guardian was threatened with eviction if he didn’t get rid of his dogs. Sadly, he brought them to CACC. He loved them and even had them fully vetted; he brought their vet records with him. These girls are social and loving. The only medical need for Lulu is that she has cherry eye and needs to see a vet for that. Volunteers love this pair and have collected donations of at least $175 to help with the cost of the surgery.
