Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo is a Boston Terrier/Italian Greyhound mix. He is just under a year old and around 18 lbs. He is such a little love bug! If you are looking for a snuggler, he is the one for you! He loves to be next to you or in your lap. He loves to curl up in a blanket on the couch with you. He loves it even more when you let him sleep in the bed. He also loves to give lots of kisses! Quite the lover!
Oreo has a lot of energy, so he will need daily exercise. He likes to run around the yard as long as you actively play with him. He likes to go on walks and is doing quite well on a leash. He gets along great with his foster siblings. He also gets along great with kids. We aren't sure about cats as his foster home doesn't have any.
Oreo's foster mom has nicknamed him Tigger because he has quite a bounce. He has been known to scale a 4ft. fence. That's probably why he ended up in a shelter. His foster home has a 5 ft. fence and he hasn't gotten over it. It would be best for Oreo to be in a home that doesn't leave him outsidefor any length of time unsupervised as he is very curious and could possibly jump the fence.
Oreo is potty trained, but not crate trained. We are working on that. He doesn't like it very much and has escaped a few times, but he has a new crate that is much better and he hasn't gotten out of it. He just prefers to be out in the open. But if you give him lots of toys and leave Animal Planet on for him, he tolerates it.
Oreo is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all his vaccinations. To find out more about Oreo, call his foster mom, Melissa at 706-840-2964. To adopt Oreo, visithttp://www.bostonrescueofsc.com/ and fill out the adoption application. Oreo's adoption fee is $175.
