Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blueberry if a very special girl who is looking for a special home.
She was born with Hoppers, a genetic disorder that is only found in Weimaraners. It is formally called Spinal Dysraphism, and causes her back legs to work together instead of separately, thereby causing her to "hop" instead of walk or run. When Weim pups are born with Hoppers, they don't know any different, and they are typically very happy and well adjusted. The disorder does not affect their longevity or anything else, really. They lead normal lives with the exception that they move differently from most dogs.
Because she tends to move in circles, she will not be a good choice for a family with very young children, because they may get knocked over. She does like kids, though, and other dogs too. She would do well with a canine companion to keep her company. Like any other Weim, she would do better in a home where one adult either works from home or stays at home. She is housetrained, Spayed and up to date on vaccines, now all she needs is you! Please send an email to WeimLuvvr@aol.com if you would like an adoption application.
