Murphee's Story...
Murphee is a very active, curious and playful little guy. He has a big personality with a lot of character. Where you are, he will be. He is interested in what you are doing and wants to be involved. He is also sweet and loving and likes to sit in your lap and be petted and fall asleep. He and Aoifa are siblings and they both will climb up in my lap and curl up next to each other and fall asleep. Murphee is very affectionate and very cute! He is 4 and a half months old as of 9 23 14.

He was rescued, along with his siblings, as a tiny kitten living in a heat generator in an assisted living facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphee, a Pittsburgh Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
