My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Snickers....my foster mom calls me "snickerdoodle" which is her favorite cookie!

I make her smile all the time but it was not always like that.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 yrs young.....I am a male and weigh about 24 lbs.

I know I am overweight but I have not had the good food and daily exercise needed in my former homes.

My first owners of 10 years got rid of me because they had kids and didn't have time for me. Then at my next home they couldn't take care of me and then went into a nursing home. Now all of a sudden....I have no home of my own again!

This is when my life turned around for the good though. Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati heard of my story and took me into their fold. I am now in a foster home in Cincinnati living with four Schnauzer step-brothers. I was very scared at first and didn't trust anyone.

Since then I have had a full checkup, teeth cleaned and a day at the doggie spa to get my fur back in shape again.

I love to play outside in the yard and with toys as you can see by my photos. Just show me a car and I am ready to travel. Now because I am so happy and can finally get a good nights sleep....I do snore a little my foster mom says!

In case you don't have a fenced yard....I also walk great on the leash.

Please help me find a forever home where I will not have to move again. My fee is only $200 and I thank you so much for reading my story.
