Zelda's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Zelda and I am the sweetest pitty around. I don't know what happened, but I ended up stray and taken to the Broward County Animal Control. I was on THE list.. super urgent. People whispered that they didn't think I would make it out of the shelter, but I never gave up home. Look at me know? I'm gorgeous and ready for my forever home. I'm 2-3 years old, fully house trained, crate trained, good with kids, good with dogs. I'm just an all around sweet girl. I just need my home and I will love you forever. Maybe if I say Please???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a Fort Lauderdale Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
