My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KHAKI is a young Norwegian Elkhound or Husky mix found abandoned along a rural truck route. She has stand-up prick ears and a thick tail that curls over her back, so she looks very fox-like. We estimate her date of birth to be August 2013. Fully grown, she stands about 15 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 30 lb. She is spayed, fully-vaccinated and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventives and de-wormed. She tested heartworm negative in mid-July. She now lives at a foster home with 20 other dogs, and she's done remarkably well. She is friendly, affectionate, gentle and not skittish. She is smart, polite, house-trained ( learned how to use the doggie door within 15 minutes) and crate-trained for nighttime sleeping. She walks well on-leash and is quite comfortable inside the house. Khaki enjoys playing with the other dogs, but mostly, she loves her people. She would be a wonderful addition to any family. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. For more information, please contact Janel Miller at dogrefuge@gmail.com.
