Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB April 24, 2014
You might have noticed from her photos, but Rue is adorable. This gorgeous girl's name is inspired from Hunger Games but with her thick, dark eyelids she could have instead been named Bellatrix! We think it's better that she be named Rue, however, as her personality fits this character perfectly.
Rue loves to climb and is a petite, shy kitten. She was rescued from a colony with her sister Primrose, and is therefore still very shy around people. With that said, she’s come a long way since being rescued. Rue gets nervous when people approach her—we are, after all, giants to a tiny kitten on the ground! She has a nervous hiss and will run away from passing feet, but once you have her on your lap and you're sitting on the floor with her, she melts into a purr factory.
Rue LOVES other cats and is constantly learning from them. She therefore would do best in a home with a very confident, social cat who will continue to help her learn to be more confident herself. As soon as Rue sees another cat, she starts purring. She loves to rub up against her senior cat peers, and is thrilled when another cat will engage her in play or grooming.
Rue needs a quiet home that is willing to continue to help her develop into the outgoing girl we know she can become. In return, you'll get a sweet, quiet yet still spunky kitten with years of love to give!
