Dale is a super friendly 9 year old maltese who has been through a lot the past couple months and is finally ready for adoption! He was surrendered by owners who said they had no time for him...they neglected to mention his HUGE hernia which they never had addressed and required a specialty surgeon to repair. His bladder, prostate, and most of his intestines were in it, and it was only a matter of time before it became a life-threatening issue and he wouldn't have been able to go to the bathroom. He had to have 2 surgeries to repair it and after a long recovery and close supervision at our vet he was finally able to go to a foster home and is a ready for adoption! He is a very friendly social little guy who loves attention, gets along fine with other dogs, and deserves a home where he will be loved and cared for the rest of his life! We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
