The ideal home for Butterbean would be an adult-only home with a female owner. She should also be the only pet, as she has a tendency to guard food and prized possessions from other dogs. When crated, she is uneasy about strangers coming right up to her, so we suggest her adopter place the crate in a quiet spot to simply avoid this issue.
Butterbean is currently being fostered in the Richmond area. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
