Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet girl is Skylar, a gorgeous blue-eyed beauty. Sky is around 2-3 years old and almost looks like a giant springer spaniel (maybe spaniel/lab/hound and/or dane mix?). Sky is nervous with some new people, and in new situations, but given just a little time to get to know someone she opens up and becomes a sweet, goofy dog who loves butt scratches and going on adventures. One of our volunteers recently took her on an outing to the park and reported that Sky absolutely loves swimming in our local creek! She promises to show her new family her water skills and many other hidden talents
Sky was adopted from us a few years ago as an older puppy and sadly her family opted to return her when she nipped a kid in the home who hugged her while she was lying down and sleeping. Sky definitely is nervous and anxious at times but has never shown any aggression or propensity to bite towards adults and older kids. Given her history she likely should live in homes with kids 14 years and older.
Sky is crate trained. Her former family reports she is housebroken, although she has had some nervous accidents with us and likely will have some accidents as she transitions to a new home. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go. Take a chance on this girl – you won’t regret it!
