Bubba's Story...

Oh it's raining Bassets! Not really, it just seems that way and Bubba is the most recent one to arrive in our care. Charming, delightful, perfect are all great ways to describe Bubba. He is a typical Basset boy with those trademark ears, short, stocky legs and soulful eyes. We think Bubba is about 2 to 3 years old. He will be neutered, vaccinated & micro chipped before heading home. He's good on a leash, not pulling, must exploring the world around him, all in Basset fashion. If you would like to meet Bubba and claim him for your own, he's waiting for you at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Sugar Land Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Sugar Land, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Sugar Land.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Land already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Land breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Land paves the way for another one to be saved.
