Jasmine's Story...
Jasmine is a gorgeous, one- year -old tortie mix who was dumped in the crowded parking lot of Animal Care and Control. Luckily a volunteer saw her and rushed over to save her. Upon her rescue Jasmine was ill, but with loving care and the appropriate vet help she recovered just fine. The vet also determined that Jasmine was pregnant. Two months later she gave birth to her beautiful kittens Leonardo and Isolde. She has been a terrific mother to them. Now that they are weaned and looking for a a forever family themselves, Jasmine is ready to find her dream home. Jasmine is a very sweet cat who loves to talk to you. She is very gentle and petite. In addition, she has been very good with the other cats and the dogs in her fosterhome. Jasmine has a grade 2 heart murmur, but at this time she does not require any medication or treatment. It is just something that must be watched. It certainly is not stopping her from enjoying life. She is waiting for a kind family to call her own. Please contact the foster parents at or call them at (480) 503-3069 if interested in adopting this SWEET girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
