SWEETIE (R)'s Story...
Look at this DARLING FACE!! This is SWEETIE and her NAME SUITS HER PERFECTLY. This DARLING SENIOR has had a very tough life and deserves so much better. Can you be her angel? Poor Sweetie is an abandonment case. She was adopted out in 2001 from another local county shelter and now abandoned at a property in Cobb County. How can people be so heartless? Unfortunately she is HW+ and has fly bitten ears. We would so love to see her live out her last months with some love and kindness. Please don't let Sweetie down. She's only known a life without love, so please let her feel and witness love before she passes onto the Rainbow Bridge. She would love a soft bed to rest her old bones. Please look into her eyes and see she wants help. How can anyone refuse?? She needs to be in a home environment not a shelter. Sweetie is about 14 yrs old and weighs 42 lbs. Her ID is 567979 and she is in run 883.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SWEETIE (R), a Marietta Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
