Summer's Story...
Sweet littleSummer is 8 weeks old. She is part of a littler of 8 puppies we rescued from the shelter when they were just 4 weeks old. Sadly one of the puppies didn't make it for reasons unknown to us but we managed to save 7 of them. All have been adopted except for Summer and 3 of her siblings. Summer is a tiny little girl but full of energy. She loves to play with other puppies and with children. She is crate trained and she is learning to house train. She lives in a foster home in Tennessee with two children and one of her siblings. Summer is a delight and always entertaining. Summer's adoption fee of 450.00 includes her vaccinations , her health certificate and her transport to the midwest. Our next transport to the midwest is scheduled for August 13 ( The Road Home Pet TRansport). For an adoption application on Summer please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a CHICAGO Collie/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Golden Retriever for sale in CHICAGO, or seeking a Collie/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in CHICAGO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CHICAGO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CHICAGO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CHICAGO paves the way for another one to be saved.
