Benji (CL-Kathy)'s Story...
Courtesy listing: Lookin’ for a Love that Lasts…
Benji—Sweet, young (9 months to a year old), adorable fluffy cream/almost white colored male terrier mix is searching for his “fur”ever home…Inquisitive, playful and fascinated by the world around him, Benji is 100% puppy and looking for his human counterpart(s) to fall in love with…Loves giving and getting lots of kisses (human knees and toes are particularly appealing "hot spots")…Gets along well with other pooches, but needs to be in a “cat-free” zone as he is a wee bit overzealous in his desire to get up close & personal with his feline friends (i.e., chasing and scaring cats is one of his all-time favorite past times)…Benji is up-to-date on his vaccines, heartworm negative, recently neutered (ouch!) and ready to surrender his heart to warm, loving, loyal and committed human companions…Benji is gentle with children and would make a great family pet…Are you the one(s) for Benji?…Only loving, dedicated individuals/families need apply…

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji (CL-Kathy), a Homestead Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Homestead, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
