Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jonas is one of four young beagle brothers who are one year old. They are actually Beagle/Treeing Walker Coonhound mixes so they are larger and taller than a "typical" beagle. At about 40 lbs they will keep you busy and probably will require a fenced-in yard so they can get the exercise they need. They have spent their whole life in foster care in a rural Georgia setting, so they are not used to the sights and sounds of suburban life. They'll need training and patience to get used to that. They have a typical beagle voice and activity level, and they are just sweet loves! The brothers love each other and it would be fun for Bradley and Jonas to go together but that is not required. The boys are desperately seeking a foster situation, since the great sanctuary they lived in is forced to close -the owner lost her home insurance and ability to keep the dogs on her property. We wish we could help them all, but could only commit to taking the "best of the best" due to the number of foster homes we have.
Fostering is a great way to learn whether this dog is right for your family. These guys will not be adopted out for hunting purposes, but would love to join your family is indoor pets.
