My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Watch out World! Here comes Buzi!

Buzi is a 2 years old and at only 66 lbs is a “pocket pyr’. But don’t be mistaken by his small size…he has a whole lot of love to give! This little guy will be your best friend fur-ever

Although small in size, he makes up for it in brains and energy. Think boarder collie in a pyr disguise. Buzi likes to play with his toys and knows the difference when you ask him to find his stick, ball or bone. Now, he’s still a pyr…so don’t expect him to return it.

Buzi came to his foster family very frustrated and insecure. But with the help of 2 daily walks and consistent reinforcement, he has come miles from where he was. He is still leery of strangers but warms up quickly.

Buzi needs a fur-ever family that has the time for him. He does not like to be left alone and will cry and howl when he is. After he’s done crying for a bit, he will then crawl pathetically up on your bed and wait for your return. He’s completely co-dependent with his loved ones.

Buzi has not had good experiences with males, but desperately wants a pack leader that will protect him and show him the love that he deserves.

Buzi will need a privacy fenced in yard (if he sees it…he’ll bark at it). Also, he needs a family that will be around most of the time. He is a great co-worker for his work-at-home foster mom. She tells Buzi “It’s time to go to work” and he’ll run to the office, lay down on his bed, and is quiet until break time.

Buzi is just looking to be someone’s furry, white, loving shadow. If you think Buzi belongs in your family, please contact NorthStar Great Pyrenees Rescue. An adoption application, site visit and adoption fee are required to adopt Buzi.
