Lena's Story...
Well hellloooo there. I am the fabulous Lena. May I give you a kiss? I sure hope so...it is what I do best! I didn't know a lot about love till I came to DRBC, but honey, now I can't get or give enough of it! I love the love. So let me tell you a little about myself. I like taking baths in the sun, running in the yard with my foster friends, sitting on the couch and watching TV and most of all....you guessed it, the love thing. Now if I sound like the kind of gal that would complete your world, well let's meet up and have a chat. They tell me that the first step is that application thing....I'll be waiting!

Lena is a 4 year old spayed black and tan female who is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and has been placed on the DRBC long life diet. If you are seriously interested in participating in DRBC's Adoption Program, visit our webpage: www.doxierescue.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Morrisville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Morrisville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Morrisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morrisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morrisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morrisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
