for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

LOU's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

LOU's Story...
Lou is an adult, neutered male, around 3 yrs and weighs about 33kg. Recently blood tested and declared healthy. Also microchipped. He walks nicely on leash and is very laid back in an indoor environment and enjoys occasional playtime with other does he's familiar with when outside. No cats please. Lou loves belly rubs and his freeze-dried liver treats. He's quite content to just be with his humans; non-demanding and quiet. Lou is currently in a foster home while he waits for his forever home to come along. A well-mannered dog who deserves a loving home. He gets along with other dogs given time to get to know them but big dogs who show dominance towards him may cause him to become defensive, especially when he's on leash. We think Lou would like a quiet home as he's a very sensitive dog who can get startled by loud noises and people yelling etc. We mention our observations during his foster care so we can find the right home for Lou. He's a great dog overall and will make someone a loving companion. If you'd like to adopt Lou, please email diannealdan@sympatico.ca for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LOU, a Toronto Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
