My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brie is the SWEETEST seven year old Shih tzu that weighs about 10 pounds. Brie is the LOVE of the foster family household! She is a little lady that will take a walk around the block and then watch a favorite movie, curled up on the sofa with you. is fine with everyone but likes the calmness of a family. Brie was rescued in TN and was terribly matted, so she had to be shaved. She feels much better now. We took her right to the groomer for a makeover and she is BEAUTIFUL. Brie lives in a foster home with other dogs and is just fine. Brie is potty trained.

Brie does have the beginnings of small cataracts as most dogs her age. The vet feels this is not a problem, nor will it be for a very long time since most Shih Tzu's love to be a ripe old age.

If you are interested in giving Brie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the Notes section. While you are there, please Like; our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Brie's adoption donation is $395 which helps to cover the neutering, grooming, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health, transportation along with the heart worm & flea/tick prevention.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
